Birth is an act of trust. I accompany women and couples on a journey of self-trust through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period, creating the circumstances you need to feel safe, nurtured, centred and empowered.
I am based in Sherborne and cover all areas within an hours drive. I have supported home births, hospital births, unassisted births, and Caesareans.
How I Work
I work with you throughout your pregnancy, so that you feel totally ready for your birth and choose the circumstances that are truly suited to you.
I act as a gatekeeper so that you can feel certain, safe, and able to surrender to birth when it comes.
There's something else — I have an inter-cultural and deeply primal take on birth. I ride the line between our innate ancestral capacity to birth and the consensual use of modern intervention. I have witnessed enough births to say that women's bodies know how to birth. And also enough births to know when it is right to receive intervention. In my work I do not rely on "birth methods". Instead, I trust the embodied process, free from cultural ideas of what birth should look like.
Every pregnancy and birth is unique, and the process is individual to each mother and baby. It is your path to walk. Every woman goes through her own individual rights of passage. As a Doula my passion is making this passage an empowering one.
For me a successful birth is about so much more than safety—it is about thriving, where the mother is able to deepen into this life changing experience, take full agency, and create her own path.
My aim is that you can look back and say “It was my birth, my body, my choice.”
What I offer
Connection
Over the course of your pregnancy we’ll meet a number of times so that we can build a bond of trust. From the moment you hire me until 40 days after the birth, I’m available for any questions or concerns you might have.
Preparation
We work together to prepare for your birth in a way that is rooted in informed choice, knowledge, and embodiment. I can share my knowledge of birth physiology. with you and your birth partner. We explore your options to ensure you have the information and confidence to make decisions that feel right for you. Whether you’ve already researched extensively or are just beginning to explore, I will tailor this process to meet you where you are at.
Advocacy
It is your body, your birth, your choice. I stand by you in making this so. Through the preparation period, we will clarify your needs, desires, and values. This process will guide the creation of your birth choices, and together we will work with your birth providers to ensure that your choices are respected and followed.
Birth
This is not just the birth of your child, but your birth as a mother. As a Doula, I am there to hold that space.
I will be on call day and night from week 38 of your pregnancy until the birth itself, for as long as it lasts.

Complete Doula
My Doula service is £1300. This covers antenatal sessions, birth education, the on-call period, attending the birth, continuous remote support and signposting until 40 days after the birth, and 1 postnatal meeting.
Complete Doula + Coaching
For those who would like a more held process I offer weekly or fortnightly one-to-one in person or online sessions throughout the pregnancy. These sessions are my favourite way of working with people. We live such busy modern lives that these sessions are a held space to come to yourself, touch base with your body, and reflect on where you are at on your pregnancy. It is a time to connect with your growing baby and process anything that is coming up for you in any area of your life. The fees for this depend on the number of sessions and how far you are in your pregnancy - if you're interested in this process just let me know.
Fees
If money is genuinely an issue, and you would love to work with me, I can offer very flexible payment plans to suit your needs, and I occasionally offer concessions.
